A New Room Mate, an Old Friend (M)

"I will" he smiled then yawned again "I see you later then i guess?" as he noticed the building coming up in the distance.

She looked up at the dark sky. "Well, you can stop by the house, and go ahead and go to bed. I can finish my errands, then come home when I'm done." She looked at him, smiling a bit.

"Okay, though i will say this full belly, is making me like a cat. Eat then sleeps" he yawns then stretches "I might actually miss the night, because now that i think of it i'm tired as hell." he chuckled.

She blinks, laughing softly. "Well, I'll probably be up for a lil' bit...I need to take a shower and a few more errands to run..." She grins at him.

"So when we get home, are we heading to bed or are you a night bird too?" he smiled at her ruffling her hair to ease the mood.

She looked over at him, blinking. She looked distracted, her eyes weary as she looked at him. She attempted to smile at Zale. I'm going crazy, aren't I...? His eyes are familiar, his hair...just...him.   

he calmly watches the cars fly by, thinking to himself I wish she could remember, things would be great. Things would be normal again between us. He then looked at her.

She pretends to ignore it. She shoves her hands into her pockets and looks up at the sky as she walks.

He follows his scarf ends behind his back , not flowing in the breeze of the cool night.

She nods. "Gotcha" She pops a brownie in her mouth and in his. "Onwards we go~" She walks towards the exit.

"I've got what i mainly need, i'll get the stuff tomorrow" smiles

"Oh! Yes, of course. Silly me..." She stood, taking the small handful of brownies off of her plate, and laying down a twenty on the table to pay for the two of them. "Is there anything we need to get from your house before we head home?"

He looks at her "we about ready to leave? it's getting late" he looked at the time "really late." he smiled at her.

She feels a sharp pain in her chest suddenly, an emotional pain. She stares longingly at the new companion, wanting to know his pain and his secrets, wanting to know him more. But instead of asking, she looked down, biting her lip.

He stares at her then sighs "yeah, new friendship" he taps her glass with his.

"Oh...I'm sorry..." She frowns. "Well, hey." She lifts her glass. "Here's to new friendships, Zale." Raven smiles at him. "And here's to where ever our future leads us.."

"nothing just remembering an old friend i saw recently actually, but she didn't see me."

She continues to eat, then looks at him. "You look troubled..."

He trys it,  "yeah pretty good" he smiles he then eats his ice cream, happily but in a remembering pace, thinking of something.

"Lucky guess?" She shrugged. She sat down again, popping a small brownie into her mouth. She picked one up, and handed it to him. "Try one, it's delicious~"

He watches her go with a sigh then when she returns he smiles an honest smile "thanks" he looked at it then looked a little depressed "My favorite flavor, how'd you know" he looks at her.

"Yeah, it's was getting to an irritatingly hot temperature...how annoying and bothersome it is." She smiles at him, an award winning smile that she used to always have on her face. Now it's rare that she smiles at all...
She wanders off to the dessert table, grabbing a plateful of sweets for her. She looks at the flavors of ice cream. "What kind does he even want...?" She looks at one, and for some reason, she feels like he'd like this flavor. She gets a bowl of it and returns to the table.
"Here ya go~"

"yeah, um, i guess just some ice cream." he then smiled his cocky smile "To cool me down, I'm getting a little too hot for everyone in here."

She watched him every now and then, her large purple eyes curious and stunning in a sense. But she finished her bits of food, then stood. "I'm hitting the desert table~" She looked suddenly a lot happier. She'd always loved sweets. "Want anything?"

He sighed then ate his now and then pulling pieces down the seat beside him. He stayed quite for the most part, a shocker.
