Blood Love (Priv. Natsu.Mature)

Ronan smiled when Everly did, then left behind her, Aysel at his side. Ronan looked at Everly as they walked, and he noticed the hunger in her eyes. When they arrived, Ronan bowed. "We are but mere wanderers, may we speak with His Lordship?" He asked, and one guard glanced at the visitors before shrugging and escorting them to the throne room of the castle, which was now being used by the vampire leader.

The man, who appeared to be in his early thirties, seemed bored when they first walked in, but them he was intrigued by the new arrivals. "Lay down." Ronan whispered, and Aysel obeyed. Ronan fell to his knees so his hands were in front of him and his head nearly touched the floor. "There is no greater honor than to meet you, my Lord." Ronan said, inwardly hoping Everly didn't believe that. "Who has dared to come before me? You seem to know our custom, state your name, boy." He ordered. "Remi, my Lord." Ronan said, and the guard reported that they were travelers. "Oh, so just staying for the night? I think not, for it's not every day that a guest enters without a fight, and such a pretty young thing at that." The leader said. 'I knew it.' Ronan thought as he could barely see the man approach Everly. It was clear to Ronan that he was already starting to attempt flirting with her. "I am Azriel, Lord of all. Everything inside my borders is mine, and that includes you three. Tonight, you will be my honored guests, as I wish to know more about you. What I do with you tomorrow depends on tonight. Down this hall, there's an unclaimed room next to my bedroom. That room is yours. The man seems obedient enough. You have any words for me before the night truly starts, my beautiful girl?" Azriel asked.

Everly made sure to put the bow and arrows with her backpack, she did not want them going far as she would hate to be forced to give them up before a battle. Her eyes flickered to the two soldiers with the female vampire that was so called Ronan’s mother, it was so strange to see her like that but she tried not to focus on it too much knowing that it was not her problem to deal with; at least as far as she knew it was not. She stepped closer to Ronan and looked him over, she smiled a bit to see if he would smile too but she turned her attention to Aysel and shrugged lightly “well, I suppose we can leave now then” she said as she quickly made her way out of the back door and headed in the direction that Ronan’s old home was with all the vampires that she would soon meet and hopefully not get into a blood bath with them at first sight. She wondered about what Ronan had said earlier about how many kids each family had, she wondered how many sisters or/ and brothers he had and how old they would be but she did not want to get into his personal business. “I hope they have something to drink…” she whispered as she licked her lips and her eyes filled with hunger but she kept herself under control.

"Aysel gave me the poison before she changed." Ronan informed, checking that he had the sword with him, and picking up the daggers. He opened the back door. "Those who were told to stay here can enter now. Where are the rest of you staying?" He asked. "At the edge of the forest, out of sight of the coven, but close enough to be called if a fight ensues." A female soldier spoke up as Ronan stepped out of the way of the two soldiers walking in with his mother Iliana. Iliana kept her head down as Ronan avoided looking at her and sighed. Ronan adjusted the cloak so it covered his face more, but he could still see. "I believe we're covered. I was just telling Aysel that I didn't bring much with me when I left. Follow us to where you've been told to stop, but keep quiet. I'm ready when you are, Everly." Ronan said.

Everly soon came back down, dragging her backpack beside her even though it was pretty light. She did not know how long they would be there for but she knew that she would need some clothes to change into just in case she got mud on the clothes that she was wearing now. When she got down stairs, she pulled the backpack over her right shoulder and let it sit there for right now, her eyes widened when she saw the dog there but she quickly relaxed when she realized that it was probably just Aysel in her other form which was quite interesting to see. She titled her head but then shook her thoughts away before getting closer to them “Alright, well is there anything else we should be grabbing before we start heading out or…?” she asked as she glanced around wondering if Aysel’s group would be following close by or not, she asked herself a lot of questions but she was sure to grab the bow and arrows; looking them over slowly to see if they were hand made or not.

"You have anything you need to take with you?" Aysel asked Ronan after Everly left. "I didn't leave with much, so most of it's either back home, uh, sorry, or they got rid of it." Ronan said. "I thought it was still early for you. Don't make her worried about you either. In my other form, you two can give me commands, and I won't mind at all, so that's one less thing for you to worry about. I don't do this often, but I thank you for being so kind, considering the situation." Aysel said. "To me, going along with the plan and assisting Miss Everly are my top priorities, so I need to remain aware." Ronan said as Everly gave him the vials. "Not like I can carry these anymore. Give them to her for me." Everly said, and Ronan nodded before Aysel turned into a dog. "Speak." Ronan said as he hooked the leash onto the collar. "Woof." "Good girl. Just checking. That's pretty loud, though." Ronan said, petting her head.

Everly slowly stood up from where she had been laying and brushed herself off before heading over to the window and peaking out of it just to see how nice it was outside, not wanting to walk in the rain but she would if they really needed to. Just thinking about the rain made her shiver but she quickly brushed that out of her mind as she glanced over at Aysel “Ronan can take care of the leash for now but I’ll be sure to step in if I need to” she said as her eyes flickered over to Ronan wondering how he was holding up on the inside, she knew that he looked like he was handling it quite okay but she was not sure what his mental state was and that worried her somewhat. “I think we should leave in an hour, it’ll be a good time to leave.” She said softly as she watched Ronan closely before heading upstairs to pack a small backpack that had her clothes in it of what she had brought from her old home before it had been destroyed.

Aysel put her collar on, watching Ronan take deep breaths to calm himself down. "Sounds like we're leaving sooner than I expected. We could go straight there. I think if we approach at a normal pace, we won't spook them, and thus most likely won't cause a fight. We can see it from here, so it shouldn't take a day, or even half a day. Did it take you long to get here?" Aysel asked Ronan. "Not really. I was in a hurry then, though. Also...I'm okay. It was a bit of a shock, but I won't let it distract me when we leave." Ronan assured. "Alright. Don't make me worry about you, boy. You're in charge of my leash, unless Everly wants to handle it later. Your emotions are rattled whether you'll admit it or not, so I guess Everly's unofficially in charge. I'm a dog, after all. Just say when we're leaving, and I'll change into that form. The process doesn't take long." Aysel said, and Ronan nodded.

Everly was confused by what the heck was going on but she quickly caught on as she stared at Aysel then her attention turned to Ronan, waiting for some type of explosion or something on Aysel for doing such a thing. For a certain point, she could understand but the rest of it just confused the heck out of her. She did not want to get into this mess but she was glad to see that Ronan got to see his mother because she was still alive. She knew that if others got the chance and were not so nice then Ronan’s mother probably would have been killed within the first few months of imprisonment. She was honestly expecting Ronan to blow his top off in a fit of rage but she was just happy knowing that there was not going to be a blood shed right now. Everly knew that now was not the time for fighting anyways, they would be leaving within the next few hours to get into the clan of the vampires. Gee, that sounds weird.. vampire…va-vamp..vampire. Hm, maybe if I say it enough then I’ll convince myself. She smirked lightly at her own thought “So which direction are we going to be heading in ? and how long will it take us to get there?” she asked.

Ronan finally managed to see the vampire. "Another vampire.." The woman said in awe. "You remember your name?" Ronan asked softly.

A soldier quickly opened the back door, spooking Aysel. "Would you at least knock?!" She asked. "My apologies, but the boy knows." The soldier, a different one this time, reported. Aysel sighed before she gave her orders and tossed the leash she wanted given to Ronan. A little while later, Ronan returned to the house, holding the leash and staring at Aysel. She thought she was ready to hear anything. "Thank you, for keeping her alive all this time." He said. "That's your mother, so I didn't expect that reaction. Is that your training talking? Does she remember you?" Aysel asked, so he nodded, then shook his head. "I can't say I don't blame you, but I feel worse about my leader now. I'm still willing to do this, and work with you." He said softly. "Good boy." Aysel said, which made him smile. "You're going back to your roots as a coping mechanism? Be careful." Aysel warned, and Ronan nodded.

Everly watched Ronan leave to go outside to check out the army, and probably that slave that Aysel had carrying around. She wondered who the slave was, but she did not make any questions towards it knowing that it was really none of her business anyways. Not like she really cared anyways for the poor thing, she needed to take care of herself and then her family; if she would ever have one but she was so cautious of the words ‘family’ and ‘children’. Her eyes flickered over to Aysel wondering just what her background story was, but still.. it was not her place to question. “He seems to be doing well so far, but in the end… you’ll know exactly where he stands” she muttered as she stretched out a bit more before curling up into a ball for some comfort. Her eyes studied Aysel closely “Tonight will be very… interesting to see” she whispered wondering how the leader would come to accept her into his clan.

Ronan heard what she said, wondering if that's what that was her priority, or if she was remembering something. He adjusted his cloak so the top rested on his head, then headed out the back to see the army. The group, that had men and women, had heard about him, so they watched him as he wandered and nodded when he looked at them. They weren't sure how to act or what to say to him, except telling him to stay away from the other vampire when they thought he was too close to her.

Aysel looked toward the back door. She didn't like him being back there, but she wasn't his leader. "I don't envy his position at all. Yours either, but he probably thought he hit bottom emotionally the moment he realized he couldn't go back home. A narcissistic leader like the one he describes may guilt trip his flock to keep them from leaving, among other things, so I I'm impressed by how he's handling this. I feel lucky that he's accepting the plan." She said.

Everly thought that it was a bit strange to hear that each vampire had several children each and that they breed at such a young age. She wondered what vampire’s greatest weakness was, but like many creatures… perhaps they did not have many to face. She smirked softly though when she heard Aysel speak about how she was more interested in her job than having children that would run around. She thought about having children, but she thought that they would be some what annoying if they were not raised properly and she was so un-sure that she would make a good mother to the children if she dared to have any. “Your job should come first before breeding” she whispered as that was the way she was taught as a child.

Ronan was more solemn about returning to his former home. He nodded when she advised him about the cloak, then paused, considering his answer to her question. "It still feels strange to think that that's not my home anymore. We don't count, so I don't know an exact number. We have children at a relatively young age, and have several children each, so not counting pregnant females, at least one hundred, probably more." Ronan estimated. "Do you have a large army, both for protecting your leader, and the ones for fighting and guarding the area?" Aysel asked. "Yes, and we're encouraged as children to join when we're older." Ronan said. "With my kind, the army doesn't get counted. They figure we're not going to stay long, so we're not considered part of the population. That, and they want to count ones that live long enough to stay and have children. Right now, I'm more interested in my job than making a litter." Aysel said, smiling at Ronan's perplexed face when he heard her refer to children as a 'litter'.

Everly watched the soldier leave through the back door before she went to go sit by Ronan as she continued to drink her water till it was almost completely gone. She put the cap on the bottle and set it off to the side before she started to braid her hair into a French braid, she nodded softly “Well next time you’ll remember to take it off so you won’t get warm” she giggled quietly wondering how large the group was that Aysel had but she did not want to go out back to be surrounded by werewolves that she did not know very well. “I can’t wait to get moving” she whispered and slowly laid down on the ground, stretching out her body carefully. “So Ronan, how many people would you say follow this leader of what was yours?” she asked wondering if he knew or not but she was just looking to get some more information to be prepared.

Ronan nodded to Everly's question, then walked to the table before sitting down before it. "Some need a little bit before they're fully awake. He may be feeling like that now." Aysel guessed, watching Ronan eat before starting to eat herself. She thanked the soldier and asked him to leave. He gave a quick bow and left, and Ronan watched as Aysel put her collar on. "Does it feel okay in that form?" He asked. "It's fine. It'll need to be adjusted when I change, but I'm used to it. Did you get hot with the cloak on?" Aysel asked. "Yes, a little bit. I forgot I had it on when I went to bed." Ronan admitted, and Aysel looked at Everly. "That explains the sleepiness." She noted.

Everly smiled as she was glad to hear that Aysel slept fine, at least it was better than nothing. “I’m happy to hear that Aysel, it’ll be nice to get moving” she muttered softly as she glanced over at Ronan after grabbing herself a bottle of water from the kitchen. “You look a bit tired..” she whispered as she slowly walked over to him and circled around him twice “You sure you’ve had enough sleep?” she asked him wondering if he would be okay for when they moved out but soon her attention was turned to the soldier that came in with some food for them. “berries would not be too bad, but then again meat is the way to go” she chuckled softly , wanting to keep her energy up for this situation. “I just hope that the clan is accepting and not hostile towards us. It would be a pain in the ass if they decided that we are not welcome there” she muttered.

"Yeah, I slept fine." Aysel said. She looked around, noticing that Ronan wasn't there. As she thought of asking if he was hunting, he came downstairs appearing mildly tired. "Should I go get food?" He asked. "One of the soldiers is doing that now, the one who appeared last night." Aysel said as she placed a leash and collar onto the table. "Who's that for?" Ronan asked. "Me. I'll be transforming to get in, remember? So I brought this in, since I assume your kind isn't used to dogs. I don't want them after me, thinking I'm a wild dog." Aysel explained. "Good point. I can actually see that happening." Ronan sighed, then the soldier came in with food, Aysel picked up her leash and collar off the table, then the soldier set the meat down. "Vampires don't eat regular food like berries, right?" He asked. "Not commonly, no. I certainly don't." Ronan said.

Everly’s body twitched as her dreams became dark, but not as dark as they did last time. This time it was different but she actually tried to embrace it. Her eyes snapped opened and she laid there staring at the ceiling for a second as she listened to the movements downstairs, she had heard the door open and footsteps so she guessed it was either Aysel or one of the soldiers. She glanced over at Ronan and smiled before carefully getting out of the bed. Silently she moved out of her bedroom to get something to drink, or something to snack on. She then moved downstairs almost like a ghost and soon found Aysel “Oh” she said softly  as she blinked and rubbed her eyes lightly “Did you sleep well?” she asked Aysel before heading into the kitchen to see what there was for snacks. Everly felt like she could eat an entire zebra right now but she held herself back from letting the hunger get to her.

Ronan nodded in response to her answer, then watched her leave before she called him over. He eagerly followed her, imagining that she could hold him if she woke up early from a nightmare. He entered the room, and slowly got into bed next to her, since the bed was big enough for two. By the time he had crawled into bed, she had already closed her eyes, and he fell asleep soon after her.

Aysel woke up soon after sunrise, and walked over to Ronan's mother, who was still sleeping. She smiled as she remembered that Iliana's initial attitude was similar to Ronan's, which was one reason why she found him interesting. Aysel sighed, realizing that she told him that he could look out there, when she still didn't want the relatives to meet. At first, her dislike was out of amusement, but now she thought that him meeting Iliana would be a distraction from their plan. She shook her head and went inside the home.

Everly laughed softly when Ronan mentioned staying up for as long as she wanted or needed him to. She shook her head lightly “I don’t want you to stay up Ronan, you need your sleep just as much as I do” she whispered as she slipped out from his grasp  and stood up “Come on silly, lets get some sleep” she said as she ran her fingers through her hair and headed upstairs but she stopped about half way and glanced over at him “Come on sleep with me” she whispered as she headed up into her room wondering if Ronan would follow her. She crawled into her bed and snuggled against her pillow as her eyes searched the door. Slowly she closed her eyes hoping that her nightmares would not come back , it was not long before she fell into a deep slumber.

Ronan's face lit up with almost childlike glee, then hugged her after she lay down. "Thank you, Everly. I don't believe I've ever felt happier. I'll stay awake as long as you need me to, to ensure that you can sleep well your first night after becoming a vampire, and since you had nightmares last night. I don't know how to relieve that last one, but I'll do whatever I can, as I said before." He said.

Aysel stayed awake, leaning against the side of the house, deciding that she would be the last one to fall asleep, in case the two inside asked for her.

Everly watched as Aysel left with the male soldier, it was nice to see that Aysel was a majestic  leader to her people. She wished that she could be that way, but she liked herself just the way she was. When she heard the back door shut, she smiled softly and licked her fingers before her eyes flickered over to Ronan as she crawled closer to him wondering if she should let her body do the talking or her mouth but she decided that her mouth would do the talking this time; feeling it would be too quick of a move to jump on him. Though she did allow herself to plant a soft kiss on his lips, when the kiss broke she gently cupped his face studying those eyes of his carefully “Romantic partner? That sounds perfect to me” she said softly and giggled as she ran her fingers through his hair carefully “You’re so silly, but you’re astonishing” she whispered to him as she curled up into a ball on the floor and rested her head on her arms, she was still watching him with a playful look on her face.

"Also, we thank you, mister informant. You've been very helpful. I'm staying out with my army and falling asleep with them tonight. I wish you two the best, I pray you're not so nervous that you can't sleep." Aysel said after she and Ronan ate, then followed the soldier outside. "I'm not that nervous." Ronan muttered, not expecting Aysel to sleep outside, but it felt good to be somewhat alone with Everly. "I...want to know how you feel about me. If you share my feelings, if things go well, can we...advance our relationship? I don't know how to ask properly, but I would love to be your...romantic partner if you'll allow it." Ronan said.

Everly was glad that Ronan agreed on the time, she thought it was perfect but she was a bit tense when a male soldier walked in from the back door and came out to where they were with food. She studied the soldier carefully before glancing at the food “Perfect” she said softly as she looked at Aysel, she was glad that the werewolf was helping and had an army or else they would have been shit out of luck for everything. “So we’ll eat, get some great sleep and head out tomorrow night.” She muttered softly as she glanced at Ronan before joining him for a small bite to eat, she sat about a foot away from him as she did not want to crowd him. When she finished her own meal, she licked her lips and stared up at the ceiling “I’m sure that we’ll run into little to no problems” she whispered and sighed with relief.

"Tomorrow night sounds good. That way we can get some sleep beforehand. Thanks for the daggers, are you expecting me to throw them?" Ronan asked as he stood up and Aysel laughed. "Well, you're good at that. I'm grateful you missed your first shot at me. I told my army about you two, so there shouldn't be an issue if you see them. I'm unsure if I said it before, but one of my prisoners is a vampire my clan's had for many years. It's better to know in advance than to see her and be surprised." Aysel said, noticing that she got Ronan's attention when she indicated the prisoner was female. Ronan sighed. "May I see her?" He asked. "Maybe in the morning." Aysel said, which made Ronan smile before a werewolf entered through the back door. "We found food on the way here, and saved you three the best part." The male soldier said, setting the meats on the table. A minute later, Ronan started drinking from one part of the meat.
