| For years people lived in fear because they were afraid of specific creatures. Blood suckers, Vampires. No one wanted to become the victim of a Vampire's hunger. Soon, hunts broke out to kill Vampires. But so many lives had been lost, from both humans and vampires! So, people advised a plan. Vampires and humans would live among each other, but not as enemies. As friends. Was this possible? People figured it was worth a shot. But, Vampires and humans wouldn't live among each other that quick! No, there would be a test. An experiment. The Rosewood Academy was strictly a Vampire's school. No human attended the school. Not unless they wanted to be a meal! This school was part of the experiment. None of the students had been told, which was probably a bad idea. But, regardless there was a new student. And, she was a human. She would attend the school for the rest of the year. And room with vampires. Live among vampires, and so on. The new student, actually had no idea she was attending a school filled with Vampires either. Her father had worked for the government and willingly volunteered his daughter to be part of the experiment. The staff of the school knew the experiment. It wouldn't take long before the students would tell the difference though. Kimiko Cagliostro was the human student. A senior. She sat on the bus as it drove through the trail. Shades of green from the trees passed by in a blur. She watched out the window hearing the engine since it was only her and the bus driver. No one ever came this far from the city. She never even knew there was a school this far from town. Her hands held onto her ipod and headphones as she sat nervously. She wondered what the students would be like. She figured every high school would be the same. But still she hadn't known. The bus rolled to the gate and slowly stopped. The bus driver sat quietly waiting for Kimiko to head towards the front of the bus. She held her bags and waved good bye to the bus driver as he drove off. Looking down both sides of the roads she made a sigh. Turning back to face the gate she looked to see many pale students walking around. It wasn't very sunny, the whole school ground was shaded by the trees as if on purpose. Well, this was it. Now she was going to a new school. The gates slowly opened and she walked in with her belongings. | |
