Katherine loved every second of their time being spent together right now , she could not imagine a better place to be with John; it’s not like she would not go anywhere too far from him anyways. “Once a day? Alright, I promise to spoil you each and every day that we’re together” she said softly, she had a feeling that things would become difficult but something told her that she would be leaving town with John to start something new; a fresh start somewhere. Slowly, John began to approach Katherine. He had a predator-like gleam within his dark brown eyes. He didn't stop till he had Katherine's back pressing against one of the walls of the dressing room. "I'm curious.." The Lycan whispered as he leaned forward, his lips just inches from hers. "Exactly how much have you missed me?" John asked. He stretched his right hand out and slowly ran his fingers up between her thighs. His fingers slipped dangerously close to her covered womanhood, but never actually made contact. She wondered what John could really do, but she knew that eventually she would find out one way or another. “Aweh, lost for words… how cute” she whispered as she took note of the look in his eyes which only made her smirk more knowing that it was getting to him; and that’s exactly what she wanted. “I love the colour blue, but red I believe looks better on my body.” She muttered softly as she walked over to him and placed her hands on his shoulders lightly. “Oh John, there’s so much more I want to try on..” she whispered to him as she gave him a wink.


 “I’ve already compelled the employees into ignoring what happens in that change room, they have been told not to let anyone in or within ten feet of that change room and they are to ignore any noises” she whispered in his ear before straightening herself and walking back into the change room she came from. “Perhaps you could help me out John” she said as she glanced over at him knowing that they would have to make it quick anyways. “You know what? I’ve missed you so much” she said softly as she walked over to her next lingerie outfit and looked it over as her hands rested at her sides. She wondered just how long she would be staying with Klaus for, not that she had told anyone that yet but she would soon and she hoped that it would go smoothly. Katherine tilted her head slightly as she touched the fabric and grinned, she had guessed that her parents already knew that she was going to be staying with Klaus over the next while.

John blinked slightly. He noticed that twinkle in Katherine's eyes, but figured she was just happy to do more shopping. When the came the entrance of Victoria Secrets, John's eyes widened a bit. The lycan had only stepped inside the store a few times since its creation. He wondered if Katherine planned to do a little modeling for him. "I think I could do that." John smirked as he followed Katherine towards the back, and into the largest dressing room the store had. 

John made himself comfortable on a bench just outside the dressing room. His ears could pick up the sound of Katherine's clothes hitting floor. He could hardly wait to see the lingerie she had picked out. He tapped his foot lightly against the ground as he waited for Katherine to finish. Just when John could feel her patience slipping, his eyes widened once more as Katherine stepped out from behind the curtain. John's jaw dropped a bit. His eyes slowly took in every inch of Katherine's sexy body. Her lingerie matched her frame perfectly, so much that John was at a lost for words.

The lycan wanted to play it cool tho. He tried to regain his lost composer. "Um..you look..really good." he replied softly, though his eyes betrayed him. A lustful hunger was forming deep inside the Lycan and it showed within his eyes. John slowly licked his lips as he gave Katherine another once over. Temptation was quickly setting in. He wanted to rush Katherine, pinn her against one of the walls, and fuck her on the spot. He doubted they'd be able to get away with doing such a thing...unless Katherine could manipulate the minds of the employees to ignore the sounds they'd likely hear. As John's mind raced with all sorts of erotic images, he relaxed a bit. "Blue looks sexy on you." he smirked while leaning forward a bit. "Is that the only one you'll model for me?" he asked softly. "Perhaps you could use some help getting the next one on." he added with a lusty grin.

Katherine nodded lightly “Yes, all mine” she whispered knowing that if Loris ever found out there would be teeth flying, hair being pulled and possibly throats being slit. She liked the thought of that last part but she brushed it off as if she would deal with it when and if it came down to that. She wondered how Rob would take the news but she wanted to see him tonight with John at the cabin to talk things over, hoping to come to terms that they all could agree on. Her eyes flickered around to take note of how many people were looking at them, she liked the attention but she knew that sometimes that attention was not worth it. She was a bit saddened by the release of John’s grip but she understood and grinned as she knew that he would enjoy this next part.


 “You’ll see” she said softly as she had this twinkle in her eyes as she grabbed the small bag of hers, she went to go pay for the make up items before she took a hold of John’s hands and brought him into Victoria Secrets. It was mostly filled with lingerie but a part of the store had cute summer dresses and some belts with little accessories to bright the outfits. “The best place around” she whispered as she walked over to each employee working there today and compelled them to do what she wanted. She let go of John’s hands and picked up a few really cute pieces of lingerie, most of them where girl shorts but laced with matching bras. She glanced at John and smirked as she got an idea “Come with me to the back” she said softly  as she headed into the back with something in her hands, she glanced at the dressing rooms and picked the biggest one. 

Along the wall just outside the dressing rooms were benches to sit on with some mirrors not too far for the customers to look at themselves. Katherine slipped into the room and closed the curtain behind her before stripping down and putting on this dark blue lingerie outfit, it was form fitting to her small frame as she finished up the last little parts of it. She giggled “I like this, a lot” she said as she fixed her hair when she was done playing with the lingerie. Slowly she opened the curtain and took a step out of the room, she glanced over at John and did a twirl to show off her body “So… what do you think?” she asked as she leaned against a nearby wall in a rather seductive pose  “I really like this John, it’s nice… isn’t it?” she muttered softly.

"I'm yours hmmm?" John smirked. He had to admit that he rather liked the sound of that. "Alright. I suppose I am then." John smiled while lowering his lips to place a hard kiss upon the right side of her neck. They're PDA quickly caught the attention of some other shoppers, but John didn't seem to care. The shoppers were human, and none of them went to their school. John gave Katherine a small nod. It looked like they would be united when they spoke to Klaus, which worked out in John's favor. He hadn't said anything, but convincing Rob to come along willingly was going to be a tough sell. If John was going to gain his brother's support, Katherine and him would need to appear strong. If Rob felt even a little uneasy, he'd probably attack both Katherine and Klaus. "Cant think about that.." John thought to himself. A fight involving his brother was definitely a worse case scenario. 

Reluctantly, John released Katherine from his embrace. The stares from other customers were starting to annoy him now. "Alright, whats next?" he asked. He figured that Katherine wanted to go clothes shopping or something. They had already picked up makeup, so it seemed logical that clothes were the next on the list.

Katherine blinked when she was asked if the baby she first had was a half breed, she shook her head lightly “Oh god now, she was pure blood. Though the whole not getting married thing threw my parents through a loop. Mostly my father handled everything after the baby was born, apparently marriage is a big thing and my parents won’t accept grandchildren unless I get married which is why I’m trying to stay at a far distance as much as I can” she whispered to John. She had never feared something so much in her life but she had a feeling that she would get through all of this with John. “I’m sure if I got married they would be happy but depending on who, I might not be so happy” she whispered mostly to herself wondering if she would be able to convince her parents to let her marry who she wanted to the most; that way she could be at least a bit happy in her life instead of being tossed around like a rag doll that was broken.

 She could see her mother being understanding about it but her father was a tricky one to deal with, but she was sure that she could talk to them. There is no way they would let Alek back into my life knowing that he’s been grabbing me and yanking me around while giving me that attitude of his… there’s just no way they would let me marry someone like that, they want me to be better and they want me to be taken care of but how can one take care of me with such…hate? She thought trying to figure it out and naturally she would have picked up on the footsteps but this time she did not. Katherine’s eyes widened a bit when she felt arms wrap and lock around her frame but her body gave a slight shiver as she listened carefully.

 It was an interesting transition to see them both get closer and closer since they first met, she could remember that day easily but she could not help but to wonder what Loris would say or do if she was here right now seeing this. She brushed the thought away quickly not wanting to ruin the moment. She bit her bottom lip lightly when she could feel John’s tongue giving her earlobe a gentle lick, she could of sworn that he would have ripped her clothes off and fucked her right there in the store. Katherine slightly squirmed as she had left the small bag on the counter in front of her, and her hands lightly rested on John’s arms “And you’re mine, I’ll be sure to explain to Klaus that we go over terms tonight when we sit down. I’m sure he’ll have some interesting things to say tonight but let’s not worry about it right now” she said softly as she looked up at him, studying his facial expression “After this, there’s one more place I want to go” she whispered having a feeling John would like the next store a bit better.

John gave Katherine a wide devilish grin. He knew exactly what her favorite thing to do was, but he'd play ignorant for now. "Hmm..I'm afraid I dont follow. You'll have to be more...direct." John grinned. Part of him couldn't believe just how happy Katherine appeared. He had never, ever, saw her giggle and smile so much in one day. The sight of her happiness made John want to do more to see her smile. He'd definitely have to take her shopping again. Next time tho, he would make sure that he actually had money to spend.

As Katherine began to examine the necklace John had picked, the Lycan paid close attention as she listed her likes and dislikes. "So..she's favors rings and bracelets huh? Ok, got it." John thought to himself. His eyes started shifting around the store for his next target. It wasn't until Katherine suddenly brought up her past that John's attention returned to her. He listened quietly. He couldn't imagine being separated from his first child. Knowing himself, John probably would have gone berserk. "So..she wasn't a half breed?" John asked softly so that no one could hear their conversation. "You're telling me that your child was taken over such a petty thing like marriage??" John blinked. Now, he understood why Katherine was so afraid. In addition to having a child out of wedlock, her child would contain the blood of the Vampire's natural enemy. Suddenly, the the seriousness of their situation became more clear to John.

When they finished shopping for Jewelry, John followed Katherine into the next store. The Lycan felt a little uncomfortable being surrounded by so much makeup and perfume. All the smells were affecting his sensitive nose. "Strange..I never did this with Loris.." John thought, but nearly voiced his inner thoughts. He managed to catch himself just in time. He was sure that bringing up Loris would spoil the good mood they had going. After all, Katherine seemed to genuinely despise the female Lycan. As Katherine brought up her father once more, John closed his eyes for a moment. A few seconds later, he moved to embrace Katherine from behind. His strong arms locked around her smaller frame. His body gently pinned her's against the display she had been looking at. "I wont let Alek have you.." John whispered against her ear. His warm tongue came out to give her earlobe a gentle lick. His his hips pressed firmly into the back of her perfectly shaped ass. "You're mine." John declared in a deep, and slightly possessive tone of voice. "I'll also make sure that Klaus doesn't stab you in the back. He'll have to state his terms before you make any deals with him."

Katherine grinned like a goof, she was too excited for shopping and she could not contain it. She glanced over at John “My first thing I really like doing… well, im sure you can figure that one out John” she said softly as she eyed him like he was a fresh pool of blood just waiting to be licked. She shuddered when she started to think like that, she giggled at herself knowing that her sexual desires would be taken care of later when they had time together. “My mother doesn’t usually wear too much jewelry, but when she does its mostly silver and gold. She’s more into necklaces than bracelets and rings for some strange reason and of course I’m the complete opposite. I like necklaces but rings and bracelets are where my finest is at” she said softly.

 she walked over to where John was and glanced over the necklace he was looking at. It was an interesting pick that was for sure, silver. “It’s so cute” she whispered as she took in the fine detail of the necklace, but she picked up on how John avoided touching it which made her wonder if it would have killed him would he have touched it. “You know, when my baby was given up for adoption I was banned from my home… I moved to England actually. Met lots of people there, nice people… for the most part. I never saw my child again, my father told me that I had disgraced the family because the baby was born without me being married. I don’t know if she’s still alive or not, don’t know what she looks like and don’t know if she’ll ever find me but it’s all in the past now. After I moved to England, I settled in for a few years till I found out what Klaus wanted so I returned back home for a visit but my family was not there; they had moved. So I tracked them down, talked to them and mother was so happy to see me that she welcomed me with open arms. My father on the other hand took some time, but he came around. My sister was so young at the time that she barely recognized me. Eventually we made our move to this town, hoping to finally settle down and keep everything calm to live a normal life. Of course, im not one for anything normal; that’s just too boring.” She said and grinned.

 Katherine picked up the necklace and also picked out a ring for herself as a small token of a good job, it did not take her long for her to pay for the items and get them in a small bag. She held onto the bag carefully as she glanced around at the other rings, some of them were really expensive and some of them were half off but they were all so beautiful. “Klaus is a very…special type of man. He has given me his word that he would do anything he could to help me and in return I have given him my word I would help him to the best of my ability.” She said softly as she stopped in front of what appeared to be a small promise ring, it was adorable to say the least with white gold and one square diamond shape in the middle. “I need make up… oh yes” she whispered as she remembered now. She blinked and stood straight up instead of leaning slightly forward, she glanced around to determine which direction she should be going in “come along John” she said softly as she headed towards the little hair and makeup store that was around the corner. “Father wants me to get married, but to the wrong person for all the wrong reasons… he does not want me to marry for love. He wants me to marry Alek so I’ll be well off, so I’ll be treated greatly but he does not understand why I refuse.” She muttered softly as she went through and picked out some new make up items that she needed or just wanted for the hell of it. Katherine knew she was beautiful but she liked playing with make up; it was just a habit.

John gave Katherine a quick nod. He was starting to get use to hearing her thoughts inside his head. He'd make sure that both Rob, and himself, arrived at the cabin on time. "Alright. Lets go." John smiled as he moved to walk beside Katherine. His eyes took in her smile. It was almost as if she were glowing from the excitement that came from shopping. John would have to make a mental note to take Katherine to the mall again if he ever got the chance. "So..if shopping is your second favorite thing to do, whats your first?" John asked with a sly grin. The date wasn't ideal, but at the very least they could find out a little about each other.

When they walked inside the jewelry store, John followed closely behind. He really didn't enjoy shopping that much, but that wouldn't stop him from having a good time with Katherine. "I see..its her birthday hmm?" John whispered. His eyes quickly darted between all the necklaces and bracelets on display. "What kind of women is she? Is she the type who only wears gold, or does she care more for the beauty of her jewelry?" John asked. Suddenly, the gleam of a beautiful sapphire pendent caught his eye. Two heart like sapphires rested within the shape of a larger heart. The necklace itself was pure silver. It was beautiful, but deadly at the same time. "How about this?" John asked while making sure to avoid touching the display. Contact with the necklace wouldn't kill him, but it would leave him with a rather annoying headache. However, the more John looked at the necklace the more he could see it hanging beautifully around Katherine's neck. Of course, he'd never be able to afford such an expensive gift..but that didn't stop him from dreaming about giving such a grand gift to her..someday.

Katherine took note of John’s reaction to her biting and enjoyed it but she did not say anything about it just yet.  Klaus is coming to pick me up after dinner, from there he’s taking me to a cabin. It’s a very special cabin that sits on top of a large hill near the falls. You should know where that is, after all… this is the town you live in. So we’ll be there around 7’o clock. When you’re talking to your brother, let him know that we don’t mean any harm and that it would be great if he will hear us out. When you and your brother get to the cabin, you have to be invited in but not by me… by Klaus. It’s a specially designed cabin that his family had made a long time ago. Only Klaus and his family are allowed in, unless he invites others in because it was left in his name.. She explained to him through their connection.  

She blinked as she watched the wound slowly start to heal and she turned her attention back to John’s face when she received a lick, slowly she pulled her hands away from his abs and let them rest at her sides. “Oh, well this isn’t going to be the best first actual date but it’s a start” she whispered and smirked as she slipped gracefully from John’s touch and headed towards the mall, she glanced back at him. It was not long before she entered the mall, she took in the sight of the people roaming around and the children crying and screaming for things that they could not get due to lack of money or whatever the case may be. “I love shopping, it’s my second favourite thing to do” she said softly as she ran her fingers through her hair and headed into a jewelry store to look at rings, necklaces and other shiny objects. “I’ve got to get my mother something, tomorrow is her birthday” she whispered as she stared at the necklaces wondering which one would suit her mother best.

John nodded softly. He too was eager to hear what Klaus had in mind. More importantly, he wanted to know the price for the vampire's information. "When and where are you meeting him? My brother and I can you meet there before the meeting starts." John stated, but paused as Katherine pulled him down a bit. His eyes quickly closed as he released a soft gasp from his lips. God he loved her fangs! He wasn't sure if she realized just how much, but the Lycan couldn't get enough of being bitten by his Vampiric lover. 

When she pulled away, the wound Katherine had inflicted slowly started to heal. Within a few minutes it would fade, but until then it would look like a small hickey. John didn't mind tho. He smiled down at Katherine and gave the left side of her cheek a gentle lick. It was his own way of showing affection for her. His smile grew after she invited him to go shopping. His body lightly shivered as Katherine ran her hands along his toned abs. He didn't mind that her hands were cold. He loved Katherine's touch and found himself wanting more and more of it. "Sounds good." he stated with a toothy grin. "We can call this our first actual date I guess." John chuckled

Katherine nodded lightly “Yes, I have… it was a long time ago and it’s most painful but if I could go back to the past, I would not change the experience of birth…” she whispered knowing that the only thing she would change was the whole adoption thing forced by her father and mother; mostly her father because her mother did want her to have children but there were fine lines that she needed to play in. She accepted his passionate kiss but when it broke, she listened to his words and blinked in confusion. 


Now why would I let you deal with your brother alone? What the heck are you going to say to him…? She thought as she had this awe look to her face but her cheeks flustered a red colour when she received more kisses. Her body relaxed but she was not sure if she could truly trust those words, she knew that John would keep his word but still something bothered her about how everything would be fine; somehow she doubted that but she did not know why as she trusted John. She brushed it off quickly “I hope your brother will help… and Klaus believes that he has the solution but I’m not too sure on how he’s going to manage to slow it down, he has not told me too much but he said he would reveal a lot tonight so I’m looking forward to what he has to say” she whispered to him and let her eyes lock on his, a childish smile came to play on her face.

 “I love you too John. I don’t doubt that, I trust you.” she muttered softly as she gently pulled him down a bit and placed a bite mark on his neck; it was a small one but it was her way of showing affection. “I have to go into the mall to pick up a few things, do you want to come with me?” she asked as she stopped playing with his hair and let her hands come down his chest. Katherine knew her hands were cold, so she slipped them under John’s shirt and rested them on his abs “Oooh, nice and warm” she said with a giggle.

"I see. So, you've given birth before?" John asked softly, tho he soon got a full mental picture. He could see it all. He could even hear the sounds of the baby girl screaming and Katherine's pleas for her baby to be returned. He could see the grief that seemed to radiate around Katherine after her baby was taken. John suddenly became silent. There was no way that Katherine had intended for him to see her past. He wanted to ask her why the baby had been taken, and where was she now? "Her father called her a disgrace..was the baby half human?" John thought to himself before snapping back to reality. He decided that he wouldn't ask, or inform Katherine that she had allowed him to see one of her more personal moments. He'd let her talk to him about the baby when she was ready.

As John continued to hold Katherine, he smiled softly. For the first time, John leaned in and placed a passionate kiss on Katherine's lips for all to see. "You just let me worry about my brother." he whispered softly and leaned in to kiss her again, followed by another. "Everything will be fine. Worse case scenario we wont be able to slow down the birth. If that happens I'll think of something." John promised. His hands slowly ran up from her waist and cupped her cheeks. "I love you Katherine. One way or another, I'll make sure that you and our baby are safe."

Katherine sighed softly when she heard John’s words. It was true, within a few months the baby would arrive and she could not be more nervous. “Yes, that’s what I’m afraid of… Klaus wants to help me but of course there’s always a price to pay” she whispered as she watched him carefully, she was trying to read him but it was hard to with all these emotions. “I’ve tried everything to get rid of it, it won’t let anything harm it” she whispered as she took a slight step back when she noticed John getting up. Carefully she wrapped her arms around John’s neck wondering why he was worrying so much about Klaus but she would soon find out. “Fine, I’ll let you come with me tonight. Klaus is coming to get me tonight, he’s already talked to my parents into letting me go out with him for a few hours. “ she muttered softly as she let her fingers play with the curly hair of John’s. She could not help but to feel excited to have the baby but at the same time she was very cautious and worried “Sadly I cannot say the same… this is the second child for me, but this one I’ll actually be able to hold, love and care for…” she whispered as she remembered that day like a crystal.




“One more push! Just one more Katerina”


“Ahhhnh!!”


“It’s a girl”


“let me see her, please…please mother”


“Woman! What are you doing?! Give that child to me!”


“No papa! Please just let me hold her! Please just once!”

“You’re a disgrace to this family!”


“No! papa ! no!”


“Let her go, let her go Katerina…”

Little did she know that she had accidentally made the connection with John and allowed him to see what exactly happened in the past. She looked to be about 15 or 16 at the time of the birth of the baby girl but after the birth, her mother held the crying child. Katherine was in her old home town Bulgaria at the time and was declined the rights to hold or see her child; she was forced to give the baby girl up for adoption by her father’s hands. Of course the maids did help but they were all surprised she carried the baby to full term without them knowing. Katherine snapped out of it and her body shuddered when she finally tuned back to John about his idea on having Rob in on this too. “Your brother? If he already suspects that im a vampire then whats stopping him from killing me then? He’s going to want to kill me John” she whispered but then she thought about it and tilted her head slightly “Okay, we’ll get your brother on this but that means he’ll have to show up for tonight too… but, how can we convince him to sit down with me and Klaus and just talk things out? He’s probably gonna want to know what’s in it for him. How do we get your brother to agree?” she asked softly, she hoped that John’s brother would hear them out before jumping the gun but she would find out tonight.

John smiled after being told he should've been in class. He gave his shoulders a light shrug. "I only go to class because I've got nothing better to do. Besides, we both now I'm not the good boy type." he chuckled. It seemed like the two of them had come to an understanding. However, as John watched Katherine raise the bottom of her shirt he blinked twice. His body leaned forward allowing his ear to press against her stomach.

John's eyes quickly widened with shock. He had never heard such a strong heart beat before in his life. "At this rate..it will be born within a few months perhaps..." John whispered as he pulled away from Katherine's stomach. His hands gently seized hold of her hips as he gazed up into her eyes. "And you said you tried to get rid of it...but nothing worked?" he asked. Honestly, it was a allot to take in. He still couldn't believe that Katherine had become pregnant..and only after having sex just once. "Maybe we're both too fertile..." John thought to himself. He released a soft sigh as he rose to his feet, but kept his arms wrapped tightly around Katherine's waist. "Ok. Let me come with you. I dont know why this...Klaus...wants to help you, but I should be there." John suggested. 

As he he continued to hold Katherine close, his eyes shifted down towards her belly once more. "I've..never had a kid before. Even tho I've lived for so long..this is a first for me." he smiled brightly. He wondered if this was Katherine's first child or not. Though, he wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't. She had probably lived for just as long as he had. "Oh." John blinked. He had an idea, but wanted to run it by Katherine first. "So, I was thinking that maybe we should include my brother in this. He's the most level headed person I know. He's also trustworthy. I mean..he already suspects that you're a vampire. I dont know...maybe he can be of some help. I'd rather not run...but if he have to...we'll need his help because I can promise we wont get far without it."

Katherine sat there, she was nibbling away at a small brownie piece that she had purchased due to the fact of being a bit hungry. She had already eaten lunch, but when she got upset over things; sweets happened to calm her down really quickly, it was like an exchange instead of having blood it would be sweets like brownies. She quickly picked up the foot steps and her body tensed up but she slightly relaxed when she noticed it was just John who had showed up. 

Hearing his joke, she wanted to laugh but nothing happened so she just sat there watching him wondering what he was going to say next to her but the atmosphere was different now that it was just the two of them talking. “You should be in class, taking notes and behaving like a good boy” she whispered and smiled a bit when she finally did lighten up a bit. She tilted her head slightly “John, it was a warning but a less direct one and that’s my fault so my apologizes John. I should have been more direct with you, thought you would have understood my words but I will make sure to be more straight forward with you for the better” she whispered.

 Her body shivered but she allowed John to take her hands, now she was more interested in what was running through his head. His words were true and relaxing, she was just too lucky to have met him but she found herself to be privileged as well. Katherine could not help but to giggle when he called himself out for being stupid but she let him to continue to talk. She took a deep breath in “John, I will give you the chance to prove yourself…I have no other choice but to run from here John, that’s all I’ve ever done in my life. I honestly thought you understood my words, but I need to be more clearer with my choice of words. It was actually the early morning after we left the mansion" She shifted a bit.

 "If you want, I can clear things up about my kind so you have a better understanding John” she said softly as she carefully pulled her hands from his and slowly stood up, she walked over to him and lifted her shirt a bit with one hand while the other hand carefully took a hold of John and pushed him against the very small area to him to hear for himself. It was a heart beat but it was going very fast and even though it was a fast paced heart beat it was a strong one. “It should not be developing this fast, Klaus is going to help me slow it down a bit so it’ll buy me more time to make up my mind on what I’m going to do” she whispered after a moment.

The moment John saw the expression of hurt within Katherine's eyes, he knew that had gone too far. What surprised him that most was her confession. She had the three words that the two of them had been dancing around. John closed his eyes tightly as Katherine stormed off. The teacher tried to stop her, but by then it was too late. "Fuck.." John muttered as he rose to his feet. "Mr. Stark, what are you.." the teacher frowned as he watched John bolt for the door.

It didn't take him long to track down Katherine, not with his nose. He saw her sitting down in front of a small cookie shop. The lycan slowly approached her table and took a seat. "A brownie for Brownie?" he smiled, trying to lighten her mood a bit. Sensing that his joke had backfired, John cleared his throat. "Listen..I'm sorry. I just...I dont know anything about your kind...so I was kinda blindsided. Also, that conversation we had before wasn't exactly direct. I thought it was just a warning, a scenario." John explained, but then quickly raised his hands in defense. "Eh, not that I'm blaming you or anything! I'm just...surprised...and sorry. I shouldn't have accused you of sleeping around. That was wrong..." he replied softly. After a short pause, John leaned forward and gently took hold of Katherine's hands. "Listen..I wasn't lying when I said that I would protect my child and his..or her mother. I..I dont know if you'll have the kid..but I would like the chance..to prove to you that I'm not a liar. I-I love you too Katherine. I have for..well a very long time." John smiled softly. "And yea..I can be a little stupid sometimes.." John whispered, but then corrected himself. "Ok..I can be stupid pretty much all the time. But..just running off? Why weren't you direct with me? We could've made plans or...something. Actually, when did you even notice that you were pregnant? Was it after we left the mansion??" John blinked.

Katherine used that story as something to warn him without actually say it straight forward and she thought that he would have gotten it through that thick skull of his. She stared at him in disbelief, she could not frigging believe this was coming from John but then she began to wonder if he was just using her to get in her pants. She wanted to slap him but she knew that would cause some more issues than what she already had on her hands. Her jaw tensed and she studied him closely, there was no way that she was being used; right? She scoffed softly as she was insulted by John now. 


My mother had given birth to me in almost four months, healthy as fuck and everything. Took her a day and a half to know she was pregnant. Lycans and vampires have been told that they cannot breed, but it has not been proven right nor wrong either because vampires and lycans tend not to get messed up in each others lives. I have not seen Klaus in well over 400 years John! He has plans, and needs my help so we came to an agreement…. I can’t believe I love you.  

She sat there for a second more, looking more than just hurt by him and with that she stood up from her seat and quickly left the room, slamming the door behind her making her class mates jump and mutter to themselves. Her connection with him quickly disconnected as she headed out of the school, she took a deep breath in when she finally got some fresh air and stretched her arms above her head. Slowing down her pace as she walked down the road towards the mall where she would try and relax by spending some money and treating herself to whatever she wanted from each store.

John listened to Katherine closely. He understood that Alek was a major pain in the ass. John also understood that there would be no way for him to take care of Alek without causing an incident. He was about to reassure Katherine that everything would be fine until he heard the later part of her thoughts. "Wait..what???" John whispered. Suddenly, a previous conversation they had shared slammed into John's face like a brick wall! He had assumed her story was just..well..a story. "Thats impossible!" John shouted while jumping to his feet. Once again, John had the attention of everyone in the class. "Sit down Mr. Stark. One more outburst like that and you'll be in detention." The teacher warned him. John growled, but quickly took his seat. He shifted his gaze back towards Katherine. His eyes screamed, "What the fuck?! We had sex...once! As a matter of fact, it was like frickin yesterday. There's no way you could be pregnant..a-also...we're different. Lycans and Vampires cant breed!" His eyes stated. No, it had to be impossible...unless Katherine had hooked up with someone else. That was the only logical explanation. "Wait..." John's eyes read as he began to grow more suspicious. "You said that you and this..Klaus..use to be in love, but he had tried to kill you. Now, everything is all hunky-dory. You never did say what was the common ground you two agreed on. Could it be the fact that you're having his child?" John snapped

Katherine thought it was strange how she was the only vampire with the power to get into other’s minds but she liked it that way, more so because if she did want at their thoughts she could get at them if she tried hard enough. It had been quite some time since she last used this power but she enjoyed it a lot. She blinked twice in confusion when John muttered his words, she wondered who he was talking about but she had a good idea of who he was speaking of. She watched John carefully and sighed softly when she was questioned, she glanced away from him but she was not sure if she could look at him again but she did as she explained to him some more. 


John, I know we talked about running off but I’m honestly not sure. I do and I don’t. Things are getting tighter, there are more people, more attitude.. more fear. I don’t know what to do anymore, I’ve already told Alek off and he’s more than likely to come find me to strangle me for my attitude towards him. Him, I’m very upset with and I have more than one good reason. Did you know vampires tend to produce life faster than the human body? So instead of around nine months, it’s around five or six depending on the blood line. I only have so much time before I need to make a final decision. I’ve tried to get rid of it but I can’t, it won’t let me. It’s like it’s protecting itself from harm….



She had noticed John so close to Loris, and she did hate that bitch but she could not tell if it was real; if he loved her, or if it was an act for the public eye. She wanted to know if John would do anything, if he would stay back and settle down with that bitch or if he was actually thinking of trying to defuse any wars from being started. She wondered if there was a different way of doing things around here, she wondered if her parents would actually understand for once and let her be with who she really loved. Even though it seemed so far away, she could still dream but just seeing the reality around her kind of pissed her off in some ways but she was more quicker to calm herself; not wanting anything to blow up in her face.
