Prussian Slave - Open/Mature

His mind reeled in the thoughts until he felt like he came to a conclusion. Yes, he'd take her for himself. It was only natural that a girl like her shouldn't fall victim to the infection of the states and their thoughts. And since he was going to be part of the CIA that would be announced soon, this would all be under the protection of 'their' government. He smiled, enjoying the ride as he sat within his small carriage, like a piece of royalty going through the strides. It was then that he looked back at Caroline with a smile being returned. The girl didn't know what was going to happen to her.

Standing up from his seat, he came over to her pony and then jumped up on the seat behind her, having made it a bit more personal as he leaned forward and whispered into her ear. "I was wondering if after this you wanted to share a drink~" It would be fun from now on.

Kurt's comment mildly confused Caroline, as she was reminded of stories she barely knew, fairy...tales...? She wasn't sure, where the prince arrived on a horse. She quickly decided not to question such a small detail and soon forgot about the confusion. As the two headed toward the carousel, she contemplated which seat to choose, finally picking the pony directly next to the carriage he chose. She placed the teddy bear in front of her as if it was riding too, and for the first rotation, she looked outward, watching the line and the other surroundings pass by. With every other rotation, she watched Kurt with a smile, holding onto the pole with one hand and hugging the bear with the other hand.

A teddy bear for a cute girl, almost fitting, if Kurt had to comment upon it. After putting the gun down, he had to admit that he did feel a bit of shell shock, so much so that he had exhaled a bit. "Hm...~ " But he had to play it off playfully, since he didn't want her to be weirded out. After the two seemed done with carnival games, it seemed like the carousel would be the next target." Smiling he had nodded and guided her towards one, having put down some money for the two to get on and choose their rides. "I think I'll take the role of prince and get on the carriage, but you can have your own pony if you want." He didn't want her to feel like she belonged to him - well, actually...

Would that be such a bad thought? She did belong to the german force. To think of her as American would be disappointing to what power they once were. And what if she found herself an american lover? Would she taint the fatherland's soil with that of the states...? Foul. No, Kurt realized that he needed to prevent that from ever happening..

Caroline was worried about him for a moment when she noticed him flinch, but the feeling faded after he seemed to recover from whatever happened. She stared at the game in amazement as he showed his shooting ability. She didn't feel confident that she would hit even half of them, if given the chance. She remembered watching her brother doing something similar, and mentally noted that Kurt was better at this than him, of what she'd seen. "Ah, nice shot, good sir. So, which prize will it be?" The older man handling the game asked, and Caroline chose the realistically colored bear, but cuter. "Oh, Teddy bear it is, then." The man noted, Caroline didn't know the reference, so she just thought it was a strange name. As the man gave her the bear, she thanked him and Kurt. "Are we taking turns on choosing what to do? If it's my turn, then I guess we could ride the carousel." She said, hugging the bear.

Kurt restrained himself from smiling too much. This girl was far too honest for her own good that it took some restraint on his part not to take advantage of it. As they stepped out, he was glad, since the small private confines of the ferris wheel likely would have gotten the best out him. Tugging on his collar again, he felt the wolf in him growling under its collar, and with it he began to glance forward at the girl who was running ahead of him once more. Kurt seemed to have been in the reigns now, so he figured he'd win her over with some material goods this time, along with sharpen his skills. "Time for some carnival games then..." He said, smirking as they progressed further along.

The first test had been a simple game of a small rifle and shooting down the targets. Kurt confessed to himself that he wasn't the best shot in the regime, but he could handle something like this. Picking it up into his hand, he felt reminded of the times he executed people and for a second flinched. The gun...felt too comfortable. By now, he knew that people should have told him that a gun should never feel too good in the palm of your hand. "Time to win you a bear, doll." Kurt mentioned to Caroline, looking down the sight of the gun and shooting down the targets one after the other.

Caroline's blush became more apparent as he took her hand. "It's been an honor and a pleasure to spend even a minute with someone as grand as you." She said in return before the ride slowed to a stop and the two were asked to get off. She stepped out first, watching her walking pace to avoid him walking behind her. Once they stepped away from the line, she looked up at him. "I believe I said in line that you can pick what we do after the ferris wheel, and I still think that's fair. Carousel, food, game, I'll accept anything." She told him.

Well, it seemed like she appreciated it, for the most part. If he dared to mention something like this to anybody else, he was sure as hell that he'd be shot in the street. People were still fresh from the war and another dead german wouldn't be bad, after all. "A doll like you, it should be easy to find a bachelor." Then again, mentioning her past would be a problem, especially if she had an accent problem that she couldn't keep fully in control. "That being said..." The ride was coming to a small end, but he figured he'd decide for some little contact. He reached out and placed his hand on top of hers. "I appreciate you bringing me here." Kurt whispered, sounding genuine, but that was just another attempt at the wolf disguising himself as a sheep.

To Caroline, the wonder of this man seemed endless. How was she lucky enough to meet this guy? "The army? Sounds like your life has been increasingly intense. It sounds fascinating, but I hope it hasn't been too stressful for you. Sounds like part of my family. My father and brother got me involved in it. My brother was a year away from being eligible to enlist when the war started, so he tried teaching me things he'd learn so he'd have somebody to spar with. My father, on the other hand, thought it would be better if I focused on the domestic life that was encouraged. Now, it feels awkward when I hear that life advertised here, but I wouldn't mind settling down when the time's right." She said as the ferris wheel descended.

Oh? It seemed that the girl was curious about him. Yet, he was still skeptical for a small moment. Then again, it wasn't like she was going to leave the small festival any time soon to spread the word so what did it matter if he got around to sharing. "Hm...My father was part of the German Worker's Party around the time the Fuhrer joined. My mom was a music teacher's assistant, getting by was easy for the two of them, but once the DAP sort of became the....nazi party, I guess you could say things became a bit more intense. My father was a supporter and my mom sort of got sucked in as well in the whole promise." To involve Kurt was natural for his father. After all, what more could you offer the Fuhrer than your child? Let him shape your child as you knew you'd be offering him to a God. Kurt looked at her, having smirked, "I was....part of the army for a small time." He murmured, glancing to the side as he wasn't sure how she would take it.

Caroline was surprised for a moment by the compliment, then she smiled, blushing a bit. Part of her wanted to look over the city again, but she focused on the kind man, which made her happy. "Thank you. I've told you quite a bit about myself, but you've remained rather mysterious so far. Being from Berlin sounds very interesting. I don't recall der Führer ever visiting East Prussia, so I'll admit I'm almost jealous. What was it like over there? What's your family like? I want to hear about you too, and the wind makes it so others can't hear, if you're concerned about that." She said, as she wouldn't have used the formerly required title if she thought others could hear her. She was slipping habits from her own former training, though it was from school and family, rather than anything militaristic. She didn't mind the slip around him, as she was finding him very trustworthy.

A small nervous twitch in the corner of her lip and he knew that he must have hit a nerve she hadn't expected. She was saddened, but Caroline covered it up quickly from what Kurt could tell. Maybe she wanted to show him that she wasn't so effected by it, or she wasn't so weak. As she did speak, Kurt listened in silence, respecting her. Though, he found himself disagreeing with the whole concept of pacifism. Kurt was taught that those without pure blood were beasts, unable to be tamed, and that they needed to be ruled over lest chaos form. But the small note of her brother being a soldier would remain a small note in his mind. It seemed that he had found a reason to detain her, for now, and possibly have his fun. This girl was relatively harmless, but...Kurt had to admit that he was developing a bit of a crush on her.

This attraction would increase as the two had been in private within the small ferris wheel that rose them up into the sky. Despite him having meant to look at the city, Kurt was merely looking at her. The way her golden hair matched that of the sunlight, the way her eyes stood out from the blue sky behind her. She was like a jewel in her own right, he confessed, and he found himself feeling selfish. "You're...rather beautiful..." He muttered, then covered his mouth and looked away. "Whoops, spoke out.." He said in a nervous chuckle, then began to look over the town. His eyes becoming somewhat solemn as the realization of where he was had begun to sink in. This wasn't Germany or Berlin anymore. He was in a new place, and yet he couldn't stop himself from still being attached to old habits.

Caroline frowned slightly, but quickly concealed it as not to worry him. "My father died in the war. My mother was a pacifist, she went along with the ideology until she realized war was imminent. My parents started arguing a lot more about it and my mom eventually left, taking the youngest children with her. My siblings and I stopped getting letters from her years ago, none of us know what happened. My hometown was taken over by Soviets, so it's hard to be optimistic. My oldest brother was discharged from the war and took us here after father died, and he let me live alone when I turned eighteen two years ago. He moved with the remaining siblings elsewhere and he sends me letters on occasion. I have no boyfriend or husband, and I don't have any real friends. I haven't spent time with someone like this since the last time my siblings visited for my birthday in January. I've considered myself satisfied with that, but this is very fun. Thank you for the opportunity." She explained.

Soon it was their turn to ride the ferris wheel. Following American chivalry, she got on first, and waited for him to join her. Then the door was closed, locked, and they started slowly ascending. She looked outside as they rose, then became more interested in his reactions, so she looked at him curiously. "Having fun so far?" She asked.

So this was what it was like to take out a friend, was it? Kurt hadn't even known the feeling. Much of his life was mostly shaped by his duties that he had little time for normal things like going to the carnival. As he watched Caroline doing her best to make him happy, he had to admit that he must have looked like a fish out of water. He seemed unsure as to what he could do or what he couldn't. The whole 'land of the free' and 'capitalist' policy was still odd for him, especially when he was around a lot of people that weren't military officers.

At the line that progressed, her question made him take notice of her at the same time smile. She seemed a bit considerate for her age. "You really are a nice person for helping a fellow guest get his bearings..." Kurt said, bowing his head a bit as he decided to see what information he could get just from normal conversation. "So, tell me about yourself....any family around? Isn't your boyfriend going to get jealous if he knew you were going with one of your customers? " A harmless joke, but it helped him get a feel for who he had to deal with if the girl were to suddenly disappear one day.

Caroline looked around at all the options, finding it a bit odd that he was having her choose. Not that she minded, but wasn't he the one who wanted to come here? She nodded when she saw the ferris wheel. "I'd like to ride the ferris wheel first, and I think it would be fair if you picked the activity after that." She explained, then walked in front of him as she headed to the ride, looking back to make sure he was behind her and smiling as she spotted him. There was a line for the ride, but not long enough for Caroline to find it inconvenient. At the back of the line, she looked up at him. "I thought this would be wonderful for you. Since you're new in town, you could get a feel for the city by looking over it somewhat. I don't know how long the ride is, but we could talk more if you wanted to as well." She said, improvising.

Kurt had his hands in his pocket as he was being escorted outside the hotel by Caroline. It was likely because he was somewhat nervous, as this was his first time dealing with normal people that were part of the government or with people he tortured. Caroline was just some girl in the town, and that frightened him somewhat as his experiences were anything but good. Germany was anything but good growing up, especially once the dictatorship had happened. Celebrations were had, yes, but they were mainly of victories for battles have or for their leader. Now, he was riding a horse carriage like some tourist, and a part of him liked it a bit. In a way, he liked her as well.

Once they arrived at the festival, he smiled as the musical celebrations helped relax him. Now he felt like he was back in an old environment. He began to wonder what was being held inside. "Think there's a carousel? Or do you want me to wind you a stuffed bear?" Kurt asked, walking behind her since she seemed rather excited for once. She was rather energetic...Good.

Caroline cheerily lead Kurt out of the room, out of the hotel and into the horse carriage. She cleared her throat, as it was time to switch to the fake accent again. "Do you know of some nearby festivals? Something closer than Coney Island?" She asked. "Yeah, yeah, of course. Just over that way." The driver said, vaguely pointing before Caroline thanked him and paid him now, so she wouldn't need to think about it later. She sat back in the carriage, smiling as she waited for Kurt to climb in. She loosely tied her hair back to keep it from blowing in the wind and out of her way. She felt happier than she had in a while. She had many siblings, as was the rule growing up, but they went their separate ways a while ago after they immigrated to America together, and it was rare that she spent time with others like this.

"Here we are, you two. There's one in the park." The driver said as he stopped the carriage by Central Park. The cheerful live music could be heard in the carriage. "This is perfect! You did say you like parks, so this is a mix of both!" Caroline exclaimed.

And like that, she was gone. Well, for the time being. Kurt had stood up, having looked around the room before grabbing the phone and dialing his friend in the government. "Oh hey there~ It's your favorite person here. Yeah, yeah, I know...'Don't call on this line' and etcetera.." He was looking down at his nails at the time, then got to business rather fast since he knew he had so short of time. "I want to kickstart this whole torture thing soon. Apparently one of the hotel workers here comes from Prussia, yes, I know, it's weird as well. Maybe she just doesn't want to admit it." Or he was tricking the government into being paranoid of a hotel attendant. He was already anticipating what was going to happen once this all fell into place. "That being said, I expect everything done properly, if you want me to show how proper torture works." Kurt had said, smirking slightly before finishing the phone call.

After she came back, he smiled in the same cheerful tone as always. "Finally free from that room. I can't wait for you to show me around~ Hopefully we won't get lost." Kurt said, chuckling. " Well, I'm in your hands~"

"A fair in August? I guess there are summer festivals. I wasn't expecting that answer, but it's not strange. I don't pay much attention to festival schedules, but the carriage driver should know or have an idea of where one is nearby. Excuse me, I'll go sign out of my shift. I'll be back in five minutes!" Caroline said as she stood up, bowed her head a bit, walked out of the room, then sprinted to the front lobby. She found the correct place to sign out, signed her name, and was approached by a colleague. "Leaving early?" He asked. "Oh no, I worked extra early this morning. I'm acting as a tour guide." Caroline said, concealing her accent as she waved goodbye, then sprinted back to Kurt's room. She knocked once and slowly opened the door as not to spook him. She smiled as she closed the door behind her. "All done, I'm technically off work now. I'm ready to leave when you are." She said, stepping out of the way of the door.

The girl really was adamant about this, which made old habits come into play once more. It was like luring a white bunny into a cage by offering it carrots along the way. And now that she had let her hair down, he wondered what it would feel like to put his fingers through them, to play with them - to tug it. Kurt had to take another drink from his cup, feeling his mouth go dry suddenly, and knew that he didn't want to shoot her the wrong type of gaze. "A carriage ride sounds good. Seems like we can see the place with that and for food, well...." Food was always a hard topic for him. Considering he liked to toy with people moreso as his food, Kurt had to wonder how he ever managed to eat while torturing people under the SS. "Do you think there's a Fair in the town? I really do like Ferris wheels and the food there. I guess...that's a strange thing? " Kurt said, chuckling a bit.

"Ah, Berlin! My family paid a lot of attention to what happened over there, especially my parents. They were fascinated with the events over there. How exciting that must have been." Caroline was excited by the idea of living in Berlin before it fell. "Well, I got here long before my shift started, so after I sign out, I don't have to stay here. I can do that on the way out. I enjoy the carriage rides around here. Where would you like to go first, somewhere to eat? What kind of restaurant or food do you prefer?" She asked. Her businesslike formalities were mostly gone and she slowly let her hair down. She felt very comfortable around him and was looking forward to whatever places he had in mind.

Well, now he had managed to make her completely drop her guard. Caroline's offers having been somewhat cute as she was mentioning boat rides, but his interests came to the fact she seemed to talk about Prussia. Had the girl old ties to that country? How strange, Kurt wondered, but something about that made him smirk. "Sadly, Berlin. And I know what you mean..." What a defeat...ugh. Still, there was something about her that remained upbeat after all of this. When she had asked him as to how long he was staying, Kurt had to look at her for a few seconds. "Hm, quite a while...If you want some company, we can go hit the town." He said, not minding the fact he could spend some time with her, but most of all Kurt wondered just how much he could get out of her. His old habits were getting the best of him, it seemed, and he was back into the process of teasing innocent victims once more.

"I know the feeling. Some people here call me Coco, since my accent doesn't become apparent when I say it. Wait, you said fellow countryman? May I ask where you're from? My country no longer exists. Prussia...I try to stay current on news over there, but at times it can be too much for me to handle these past few years." Caroline sighed, but became a bit concerned that she was killing the mood. "Ah, there's Central Park, I believe there are boat rides, I occasionally go to the movies but not recently. I usually visit little cafes, so I don't know how much that helps you." She admitted. She relaxed, leaning against the back of the couch. She felt more like a guest than an employee at the moment, and she thought that Kurt could make a nice rare friend for her. "This may sound like a strange question, but how long are you staying around here? I wouldn't mind a tour, or a night out to see the area. This city is even lively at night." She offered.

Well, she drank that down with ease, so she wasn't a super sexy german spy, as they would call them in those romance books. Somewhat of a relief, somewhat of a disappointment, for Kurt at least. As he picked up his own glass, he sipped at it a bit and licked his lips of the taste. It was pretty good, but hopefully neither one would get drunk. "Kurt. Kurt Wilhelm." He gave his name, knowing it meant nothing in the US. After the Nazi regime ended, he really did have nothing except what the government gave him. Which was a small amount of money every month, some nice clothes, and the nicest Ford car around. "And the honor is mine, since it's rare to see a fellow countrywoman on this side of the sea. To be honest, I even wrote my last name into the guest register as 'Connors' to avoid any red flags." He said, having sat beside her. His aura having been cheerful, light, almost charismatic as he was giving her trust by divulging some info of his own.

"Ah, so the telly is a no, then. Good, I barely care for it myself, though I hear that someday there might be color on it." Kurt mentioned, but gave no real care to most american things. "Hm, places that interest me...." That was actually pretty hard, since he was moreso thrown around the states due to the government, but he had to give her something. "Parks, diners, and I guess the occasional movie...I haven't been in town long enough...I'm a bit new." He said, scratching his nose a bit before smiling. "Don't know anybody but you." Kurt muttered, chuckling.

Caroline was surprised to hear him call her Fräulein, but it gave her a good feeling she had missed since she left home. She felt grateful to the man already. She sighed in relief at the acceptance of her accent. She didn't expect the invitation to drink with him. It was technically seen as unprofessional to the higher ups, but she thought he at least deserved this as thanks for such rare kindness. "It would be an honor to drink with you, sir. I'm sorry, I don't recall hearing your name." She said as she opened the bottle and poured the drinks for him. "It's habit from back home, I guess. The priority that others are taken care of first. To be honest, I just had my lunch break, but I'm willing to eat with you if you wish." She said, taking a seat on the couch. "I personally don't find the television very interesting, except for newscasts. There's a dial on it that changes the channel, one for volume, and the button is to turn it on or off. Regarding the city, what places interest you?" She asked as she took a sip of the drink.

As he was overlooking the bottle, little Caroline had seemingly let some beans spill on her own. Maybe she was overly trusting, or she assumed because of his name that he was a fellow German, but neither of that mattered. The point stood that the World War had ended just recently, and here she was, dropping the New York Accent - which he had to admit was easy to tell to the trained man, but gave her credit as the most normal of people wouldn't be able to - and giving into her roots some more. "No worries, Fräulein." Kurt responded back, figuring it'd help her relax since she seemed to have become slightly tense since revealing her accent. And she had reasons to hide it as well since he didn't think that most Germans were well liked, even if two years had passed.

Her next line made him paranoid at first, just from nature. Usually when people mentioned something like wanting to service you, they were trying to poison you. But this girl seemed rather harmless, even for him. Which made her all the more cute if she did try to kill him. "How about having a drink with me? I've yet to figure out how the telly works and this city is a big place." He said, winking at her since he'd get her to try the drink first. he was glad that she brought two glasses, but he assumed that ordering a drink made her believe he had other company when it was just him this time. "And aren't you fond? I thought it was the guy's job to ask the girl out to lunch..." Kurt added, throwing in another amusing comment for her to play with.
