If anyone is familiar with the tv series The Tribe, please read below. If you're not..well read anyway! XD
So basically, the idea of the show was that one day all the adults died due to a mystery virus that ravaged cities all over the nation. Anyone who didn't escape, or was 18 and up perished leaving behind children and teenagers to run the city. Naturally, society fell pretty quickly. The entire city became a battle zone between rival gangs/tribes. The show centered around a particular band of kids and teenagers that formed their own gang/tribe in order to survive life in the city. Aside from starvation, the kids had to fight against other tribes, cult fanatics, and remnants of the virus.

Instead of New Zealand, the rp will take place in Jacksonville Florida, just a month after the launch of the virus. All the adults will have either fled, or have died by then leaving the kids to fend for themselves. My character and his little sister will be running for their lives, trying to escape the clutches of a slave roundup. Thats when your(female) character will meet with mine. Eventually the three of them(or four if you want a sibling) will find a place to hide, which will attract other kids.
Essentially, the first part of the rp will be 100% survival. Supplies will dwindle, the electricity and water will shut off, and a brand new notion of 'law' will govern the city.
The rp will be rated M for violence, drug use, etc...
