Rp with me?

Oh its Rin! Haha that makes me wanna use Archer but that would just make me laugh so hard every time I see it. No that's perfect you should use that. I'm about to post the thread in just a bit. It's gonna start with them as kids though. I'm sure you can find a kid pic of Rin or you can use that it doesn't matter. I'm gonna have two separate pics though. Just one of him as a kid and one where he is older.

It's not a hard thing to not agree about. I mean don't get me wrong, I love CGI, Appleseed and Starship Troopers: Invasion (Which granted, is not a 'real' anime but it was made in CGI under the influence of anime) are some of my favorites. But there's something charming and great about hand-drawn features as well!

And here's the pic I was planning to use for the Miester, just wanted to see if you liked it enough or if I should search deeper.

So glad we are in agreement with that. I mean I enjoyed the CGI for Soul Eater's op but with like Robotech, Akira, Cowboy Bebop, and all the older ones you just can't help but admire how good it looks and they didn't even use a computer for most of it.

Oh yeah, I've got a huge appreciation for the more hand-drawn and old anime. Plus, those hand drawn explosions are just the right amount of cheesy and great.

And that's good, I was hoping you wanted a female Miester. And I'll probably play opposite the sarcastic guy. Anyway, would you be willing to make an opening post while I get a character up and ready? Or at the very least find a picture.

I have a little bit of knowledge of Robotech. I wasn't the biggest fan of mecha-anime. But it's always nice to watch that show and admire the hand drawn scenes. You know they out a tremendous amount of effort into it.

But yes a female miester, you can make her personality any way you want. I'll have the weapon more so super sarcastic and very confrontational with their peers so either compliment that or go against it or whatever it's up to you.

I didn't think they were that bad, although I do suppose it depends on who's listening to it. I watch a lot of older stuff....Robotech, Starblazers (Or Space Battleship Yamato, depending on who you're talking to), and a few other things so you have to expect that I don't really mind 'meh' voice acting.

And alright, so I'd be playing the archer.....you want a female archer or a male, I'm fine playing either.

I see what you are saying, I just enjoy voicing the characters in my head so when I actually hear their voices and it isn't what I envisioned them to be I get a little bit disappointed. Yeah English dubs for it were absolutely terrible from the little bit that I heard. But preferably you being the archer, that was my original idea.

I watch pretty much everything with subs instead of dubs so it wasn't a problem for me. Plus I love Japanese openings and stuff. Anyway, I would prefer it to be OC, I can never play a cannon character correctly to save my life. As far as the characters go though, would I be playing the archer or would I be my own pair of Weapon and Meister?

I just need to know that before I start thinking of anything to add, because those are pretty big differences.

Yeah when I first heard BlackStar's voice in english I stopped watching the anime that very second.. just couldn't do it. But umm my first thought was more so an OC. My character was going to be a male weapon, a bow actually, and his partner his archer. Same concept, they go around collecting souls so he can turn into the ultimate weapon while attending school and interacting with the other characters such as Soul, Kid, BlackStar etc. So I was thinking they could meet as kids, go through some traumatic experience where they find out they are partners. Later on there can be a war with the witches that they are directly involved of...

Sorry its all I got, I'm thinking while I type I haven't put a lot of thought into this yet. But if you have anything you would like to add please let me know.

I think I could go for another RP. I haven't ever read the manga, but I have seen the anime. So shoot, what's the plot for the RP you've been thinking of.

I just had an inkling for a Soul Eater Rp. The series just finished (manga-wise) and I can say I'm not thoroughly impressed but its still an overall great manga. Anywhoo! I have an idea for it if anyone is interested. If not and someone is still interested in starting an rp with me I will be more than happy to brainstorm some ideas.
